    Tasks

    Audit of internal processes in accordance with EN/AS 9100

    Ensure adherence of customer, regulatory, site, and quality management system requirements

    Evaluate returned NCs and other requirement deviations – perform root cause analysis, implementation of corrective actions, and evaluation of effectiveness

    Represent quality department for audits and customer concerns

    Execute continuous improvement of core and support processes

    Coordinate and communicate with suppliers and customers

    Investigate, analyze, and report customer complaints for improvement possibilities

    Work alongside technicians and operations team to develop technical skillset for aviation related activities

    Perform quality inspections of work performed

    Assist in controlling employee qualifications

    Perform and update training planning, prepare trainings, and perform classroom and practical (hands-on) trainings

    Coordinate other employee trainings as needed in cooperation with department leaders

    Professionally guide and coach other employees

    Oversee tool control and tool requirements – assist with required tooling/consumables needed for performance of tasks by operational teams

    Perform tool bag and toolbox audits and maintain the daily tool control process

    Provide regular feedback to management

    Assist in establishing KPI landscape against main performance criteria

    Establish additional processes for business needs in collaboration with Quality Manager

    Provide weekly reports to the Quality Manager

    Pass on feedback and awareness during meetings with employees.

    Requirements

    Minimum educational requirement: Associate’s Degree or equivalent job training

    Technical/mechanical background such as A&P mechanic, automotive mechanic, cabinetmaking, or comparable experience

    Willingness to travel

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    Work experience that demonstrates longevity and commitment.

    Be reliable and able to work independently and/or with a team in accordance with drawings and work instructions

    Able to effectively use Microsoft Office and the Windows Operating System.

    Ability to write basic work instructions for smaller mechanical adjustments and part replacements based on engineering documents.

    Must be able to walk and stand on concrete for long periods of time. This includes walking rapidly from one job assignment to another

    Must be able to work more than 8-hour shift if needed

    Must be able to bend, kneel, crawl and/or climb stairs at any time as required for job assignments

    Must be able to use hand tools as required
