    Aircraft interior experience a plus

    Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)

    Open availability when it comes to shifts

    Open availability to traveling

    Expected skill set:

    Minimum educational requirement: Associate’s Degree or equivalent job training

    Technical/mechanical background such as A&P mechanic, automotive mechanic, cabinetmaking, or comparable experience

    Willingness to travel

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    Work experience that demonstrates longevity and commitment

    Be reliable and able to work independently and/or with a team in accordance with drawings and work instructions

    Able to effectively use Microsoft Office and the Windows Operating System

    Ability to write basic work instructions for smaller mechanical adjustments and part replacements based on engineering documents.

    Requirements

    Must be able to walk and stand on concrete for long periods of time. This includes walking rapidly from one job assignment to another

    Must be able to work more than 8-hour shift if needed

    Must be able to bend, kneel, crawl and/or climb stairs at any time as required for job assignments

    Must be able to use hand tools as required

  • 2nd Shift Aircraft Structure Mechanic
    North Charleston, SC

    Tasks

    High precision drilling and reaming of different materials such as composites, aluminum, and titanium.

    Ability to pull holes, fix mismatch to oversize, and backdrill/match drill parts and details

    Removal and installation of various types of fasteners such as rivets, hi-locks etc.

    Remove and reinstall reworked or replacement parts for subsequent riveting or fastening, using clamps, wrenches and other common tools.

    Fabricate and install shim stock to fill gaps between parts

    Read work orders, drawings, and specifications for damaged parts or structures to determine rework procedures

    Clean, strip, prime, and sand structural surfaces and materials prior to bonding.

    Implement modifications as per provided work instructions and drawings

    Composite repairs such as potting, plugging, and surface repairs

    Application of various adhesives and sealants

    Application of primers and paint

    Requirements:

    2 years of drilling, riveting, countersinking, and aircraft structure experience.

    Monday - Friday Shift

    Confident to work in confined space for extended periods of time

    Open availability when it comes to shifts

    Open to traveling
